My journey into nutritional and gut health medicine blends science, education, and lived experience—spanning over three decades of teaching and years of deep research into the science of the gut.
My story really began in my mid-40s when my health completely unravelled. I was bedridden for weeks at a time with chronic back pain, carrying an extra 15kg and watching my waistline expand by the week. I was battling relentless fatigue, chronic pruritus (that incessant, itchy skin that drives you mad), digestive distress, multiple food intolerances, wild peri-menopausal swings, and moods that could turn on a dime. I was constantly cranky with the very people I loved most—and yet felt powerless to change it.
That health crisis became the catalyst for transformation. It sent me back to study Nutritional Medicine and deep into gut microbiome research. I personally reviewed over 2,500 scientific studies to uncover what truly drives long-term wellness from the inside out.
Now, at 62, I’m in better shape than ever. My mission is to guide women through the same life-changing process—helping them restore their gut health, balance their hormones, and age with strength, clarity, and confidence.
